ස්වභාවික ඉතිහාසය (ඉංග්‍රීසි:  Natural history), යනු පර්යේෂණාත්මක අධ්‍යයන ක්‍රමවලට වඩා නිරීක්ෂණ වෙත නැඹුරු වන සතුන්, දිලීර සහ ශාක ඇතුළු ජීවීන් ඔවුන්ගේ ස්වභාවික පරිසරය තුළ සම්බන්ධ වන විමර්ශන වසමකි. ස්වභාවික ඉතිහාසය හදාරන පුද්ගලයෙකු ස්වභාවවාදියෙකු (ඉංග්‍රීසි:  naturalist) හෝ ස්වභාවික ඉතිහාසඥයෙකු (ඉංග්‍රීසි:  natural historian) ලෙස හැඳින්වේ.
